Hi all,

I have a new Star Talk Flash and whenever a user's mailbox is reached and the caller presses zero, it goes to ext. 221. The customer would like it to go to a different extension. Does anyone know how to do this? I know on a NAM, each user can assign their own Target Attendant but this is not an option with a Flash.

Here are some things I've already tried:
F982 is set to the extension I want zero to go to.
In F983, AA, the attendant is set to the extension I want zero to go to.
In the system programming, my direct dial is set to the extension I want zero to go to.

If you call in and get the AA and press zero, it goes to the correct extension. It's only from within a user's mailbox where I'm having a problem. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Interesting
How is your DRT to Prime set up in the KSU?

PhM

There may be one more setting in the Greeting Tables and/or in the CCR tree, check how many tables you have in use, and check each table

DRT to Prime is a good idea. I believe right now it's set to 221 (which is the start DN and the DN I don't want zero to go to) But there is a catch to this. In the Star Talk, Table 1 is for Company A (reception 221) and Table 2 is for Company B (reception 230). All the settings in voiecmail are set correctly. F982 is set for ext. 230 and Direct Dial 1 is set for 230 but all calls are still going to 221 from within a mailbox.

If you have DID's. Make sure that each target line is assigned to the table with the zero-out set as what you want. Even though the AA won't answer on those lines it still directs the line to the table.
Hopethis helps,

you do have the AA set up so that lines for Company A are not getting answered by Company B greeting table correct .
To chech this you would have to go into lines on <f983> If you find a tip helpful Please take a moment to mark it as such.

example of what I was talking about :

To add a line and assign it to the Greeting Table:
1. Press ƒ 983
2. Enter <the System Coordinator Mailbox number and password>
3. Press OK
The display shows:
4. Press AA
The display shows:
5. Press LINES
The display shows:
6. Enter <the line number>
Note: For information about the incoming line numbers used in
your company, refer to your Flash Programming Record. The
maximum number of lines is 248.
7. Press OK
The display shows:
Note: Press CHNG to change the N to Y
8. Press TABLE
The display shows:
Note: Pressing RINGS moves to the Line:1 Rings:0 display.

By default the lines will go to Table 1 unless you tell it otherwise If you find a tip helpful Please take a moment to mark it as such.

mikescience,

Very interesting comment about the DID's. This customer does have them and they currently are not set to answer in the AA. I'll have to try that one. Thanks!
