I relatively new to the mitel system, so here's a question:
what's the best way for a customer to use outlook for dailling numbers on there mitel-phone's (5212)
cant find documentation about if.

You need the TAPI driver for Mitel.

It can be ordered from Mitel for $$$

It comes packaged with some applications like Your Assistant if you already have that.

If not, maybe someone nice can post the YA Lite again.

Install YA lite and then remove it and the tapi drivers are still there.

The desktop TSP (desktop TAPI) can be downloaded for free from MOL.

Mitel's YA client v 3.09 Free edition (when you can still find it) is free and links right up with your Outlook Contact list. Just double-click a contact name and it dials. Works with any phone on the 3300, even older TDM phones such as SS4025 and SS4150.
