HI

Does anyone know of any middleware programmes that I can use to get tapi working in a terminal server enviroment??

Many Thanks

Nick

3rd party TAPI would work on Terminal Server since then you can use any extension.

Really? I'm pretty sure it is not supported.

I think of one user chooses a TAPI line he does it for all the other users too.

I don't know if it's supported but it works =)

Depends what application you are using it for.
Usually the application selects the TAPI line so that can be different for different instances/users.
Had a customer use a CTI-based receptionist application on TS before.

It does work, even if you have multiple servers you can use TAPI Pro on each server.
"Not supported" is different as "not working", the 6408 extensions are not supported from version 9 and up but they do work without a problem on R9.1.
I think it is a commercial reason to "Not supported" more as a technical reason, using One-X Portal (recommended by Avaya) generates a bigger profit as a TAPI Pro license.
On top of TAPI Pro it may be usefull to take a look at UC+ software which gives click to dial from any selectable number, presence, customer database connection etc.
Nice software, easy setup and reliable.
