I have the tapi client installed and working on several laptops so users can dial contact in outlook 2003. I have one user who is running OL2007. I cannot get tapi to work correctly for this user. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling many time. This user has admin rights to the pc. However ever time I try and configure the dialing options from Outlook I do not get the option for my users IP line. All I have is IPCONFLINE. When you click on line properties for that you get the dreaded An internal error occurred in the automatic phone dialer. The phone dialer service is started. Any help much appreciated as Avaya support wanted $600 for a per incident charge.
