Has anybody worked out a way or seen a 3rd party app thats been developed a way for Mac's to take advantage of the IP Office TAPI directly from the the OS.

Have a Customer who want to dial a contact in Outlook 2011 for Mac and also from other apps they run on there Mac environment.
I would have thought by now somebody would have developed a driver for Mac or other basic app that would link back to the TAPI interface running on a central Windows server.

Any help would be grateful.

we have a customer that runs all MAC's as well and they would love that, but seeing that TAPI is a Windows API I doubt that someone spent the time to do that as the market for MAC's is growing but still not big enough and people want things like that for free usually so there is also no money to be made with it.

Won't work. You need JTAPI, but the IPO does not understand JTAPI. It only works with AES connected to a CM.

It works. You need a small Windows server where you install 3rd party TAPI and TeamCall Express. On the Mac you have the client "direct". It supports also Apple Script, i.e. you can do everything you want. Some scripts are available like for Entourage, Outlook 2011, Filemaker

Has anybody actually used this software with IP office R7+

Keen to know as I have a deal pending, but concerned as not Dev-Connect certified and being TAPI and or Mac Interface could open a whole world of hurt.

Yes, I have a number of systems with this solution installed.
Starting with IPO 3.2. In fact, my secund IPO was the first with this solution. But also 7.0 systems.
Over time, the software had some issues, but now I think it's good.
Don't forget, regarding CTI, this is a simple application for 'make call'. Not much else.
