Tapes Disappearing on 11.1

I can't resolve this so I hope I can get some help here. We are running BrightStor version 11.1 and for some reason everytime I replace tapes the ones I take out disappear. What do I need to do to get them back?

Whenever I switch out the tapes the tapes that I replace drop off and are no longer recognized. We have 8 tapes in the magazine...I replace the first 4 and after that only tapes 5 - 8 are shown. When I reboot the PC that this is all attached to the tapes all show up but show up as "Dismounted" and the device is offline.

Seems to me you are using the 8-slots 'carroussel' autoloader which is provided by many vendors nowadays.
