Hi,
I have one tape that if I check with mminfo command the tape seems to be duplicated, but there is one tape with this barcode

mminfo -a -r 'barcode,written,%Used' | grep -i PP0000
PP0000 61 GB full
PP0000 113 GB full

The first line was the original, but I labeled this tape to another pool.
But when I check with mminfo command appeared the original and the other.
First question, why does it happend ?
Second question, if I know that the correct is the second because I labeled the original, how can I correct this ?

Any ideas ?

What you do is looking for the save sets that reside on that media. So if you have two save sets, you will end up with two results.

You better use
mminfo -m
or even better
mminfo -q "volume=string" -r "volume,%used,barcode"

mminfo -q "barcode=PP0000" -r "volume,%used,barcode"
volume (%) barcode
Diary-0063 full PP0000
NT-0199 full PP0000

I have one DLT tape with barcode PP0000, but if check with mminfo command I have two DLT tapes with the same barcode for different volumes.
I hope that you underestand my explanation.

Any ideas to resolve this?

With your command, you still go for save sets, not for volumes!

However ...

Try to run "nsrim -X" and see whether this will correct the problem.

You may of course also delete the volume with "nsrmm -d -V volumeid" - Do not go for the volume as this might delete both!!!
