Hi team,

My environment is as such: Lync connected to Avaya Communication Manager via SIP trunk and ISDN-PRI from Avaya Communication Manager out to the PSTN. We are having issues with 911 where the service provider is seeing the calling party information with a leading 1 and we simply need to pass the 10 digit number. I have seen documentation on the tandem-calling-party-num table to manipulate calling party information but haven't had any success. What I did on that form was CPN Length = 11, CPN Prefix = <calling party information passed from Lync via SIP trunk>, Trk Grp = ISDN-PRI to the PSTN, Delete = 1, Insert = <blank>, Number Format = ?.

Any ideas on how I go about stripping the leading 1 to make my service provider happy?

Thanks and regards.

The route pattern form will manipulate the called party information, not the calling party information. I learned this the hard way :)

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Which trunk group? SIP between Lync and Avaya or ISDN to the PSTN?
