Take an outside line

I have a 3904 model, in which I take the outside line (we dial 8), by pressing of course the 8 on my phone., As long as the other models 3903 or 3902, they have to press the Green button and press 8 to reach the outside line, how can I program that??

try turning on LIVE DIAL PAD. press OPTIONS key and scroll down to LIVE DIAL PAD. Press SELECT and then press ON, then DONE. Now, when you press 8 you will automatically have dialtone. Even on an internal call you will automatically have dialtone. Once you press a digit the dialtone will be there. no need to lift handset or press key first. good luck. Im not even sure, however, if the 3902s and 3903s even have an Option key. if not, you probably can't do it.

Well, the 3902 and 3903 has an options button, but they don't show a live pad option, just on the 3904 it shows ..

maybe you can check the programming on the TN. there may be some option that needs to be set in the CLS. I will check my 3900 user guide in the meantime.
