Howdie all and happy Wednesday (kind of)

TAG a DDI and the data is presented (TAPI) as 'CallData' happy here..

Send a DDI to a VM:group --> end to 'Transfer' and now? I need to set the destination .. what's best?
Source of Transfer (Displayed on Phone) results as 'Caller Name'
Ideally I would like to have it displaying a TAG .. so that TAPI also sees it as 'CallData'

Any suggetions?

Intrigrant I have followed your advise and progress shall follow thank you

I'm giving up :(
@Intrigrant would you be able assist please? Surely I must be doinf something wrong..

Check dbgview what file it's trying to play

You can send the vmdata.mdb to me and I'll take a look at it avayalogsatgmxdotcom

I have seen situations where system variables can't be used to play waves or in some other cases. Usually it helps to copy the value of $TAG i.e. Into $CP0 and play Q$CP0.wav

interesting... how would you do it please?

Use a common action and use the option on the special tab 'set value for CP variable'. There you can set the input variable ($TAG in your case) and the output variable (0 or $CP0 in that case).

Hi Intrigant,
did you manage to have a look?

Leo

Florian is on to something there, better copy $TAG to $CPxx.

But if you really want to use TAG directly, try this->
- Add a Speak Text-action in the callflow. Enter this: Here it comes $TAG

Call in and hear what numbers are read back to you.
(For all I know there could be "" added to the tag, that would mess up things)

Kind regards

Gunnar

how do I copy $TAG to $CPxx ?

Leo

Oh dear I'm going nut...

SO in Generic --> Specific

Select Generic Command
Set CPxx Value

Set Data Variable
0

With Value
$TAG

and then ?

Sorry but I'm stuck

That's it, then you can use $CP0 as that will be set to the $TAG value now :)

So on 'queued'
Start point ---> Generic ---> Menu with entry prompt set to $CP0.wav

And I have a file called 7777.wav for example..

not working :(

did that... 'Cannot find file' basically

Basically ??
Shouldn't it say which path\filename it's looking for?

Now you forced me to test this myself on 9.1.8.

I use sv/IPO$TAG.wav as the prompt I wanna play in a Generic action in VM Pro, ICR sets TAG to 1234.

This is what I get in VM Pro logs since the file doesn't exist

Session: 0000006b, Substitute (sv/IPO$TAG) -> (sv/IPO1234)
Failed to load sound bite "/opt/vmpro/Wavs/sv/ipo1234.wav" [uLaw], error is "No such file or directory"

It tries to play the correct file.

What about straight in the Wavs directory and not in a sub directory? :)

I didn't have a .wav file for the test so the error message is expected =)
