I'm using RC1...don't know if this is a bug, but when I tag videos in Photo Gallery, neither media player or media center seems to recognize them...Anyone else with the actual RTM have this problem?

What do you mean by recognize? The Tag or the File itself?

What are you expecting to see as a result of adding Tags?

I have some .avi files that when I play in Media Center cause it to crash and the screen to go black, these same .avi files play OK in Media Player. This is in the RTM version.

I have sent MB's of Error Reports to Microsoft about my .avi problem in Media Center, one day they might sort it for me?

In your case, if you give clear and concise instructions of what you are trying to do, that I can follow, I will try to repeat it for you.

Here's what I'm doing:

I tag a video in Photo Gallery. It appears under that tag along with any other videos or photos with it.

However, when I go to Media Center, there is no option to sort videos by tag. If the tag contains both videos and photos, Media Center "sees" the tag when I go to the photo section, but does not show the videos that have been given that tag under Photo Gallery. Media Player, as far as I can tell, doesn't have tagging capabilities (and doing a Properties view of a video doesn't list its tag).

As far as I can see, Tagging a Video doesn't show up in Media Center in so far as you cannot sort Video by Tag as there is no item other than Folder or Date Taken to sort by, whereas Photos can be sorted by Tag as well as Folder or Date Taken.
