Have a multi-tabbed form. The tabs are titled as follows
Administrator
Review Accounts
Pending

Upon the administrator logging in and accessing several controls on the "administrator" tab then going to the "Review Accounts" tab, all of the tabs mysteriously disappears!

Any idea as to the cause of this?

Maybe a sizing issue where the tab control is too large to fully display in the form section. This may be a consequence of the controls on the "Review Accounts" tab preventing the tab control from shrinking enough to keep the tab in view. Have a look in design view.

Cheers,
Bill

Upon reviewing,

Yes the form size upon entering the application takes up the entire screen of my monitor. How does one default the size of the forms within a Access database so that all forms are displayed at a particular size?

Does this have something to do with the screen resolution?

If so, how can I ensure that the endusers will display the defaulted size of the forms when he/she opens the database? Note, the database will reside on the network drive as a mde file whereby the entire staff can access.

There is no default size for Access forms, however if you want them to maximize to the full screen, then try the following on the form's OnActivate event:

Docmd.maximize

You can set a form's default size just by sizing it while in design view. Make sure any size changess are saved. Also look in Help under Border Style.

Monitor resolution will impact how forms and controls are displayed. In general you will be better off designing forms at a lower resolution and migrating them to higher resolutions. Run a search on this site under "screen resolution". It has been well covered.

Still not working as planned.

The multi-tabbed form is taking up the entire screen and the tabs completely disappears after the end-user goes from one page to the next several times.

Currently, I am looking at the resolution. Also, how can I adjust the size of the multi-tabbed form for each of the six end-users if he/she has a different resolution set up on their computer?

Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It certainly sounds as if you need to reduce your overall form size and probably make some concurrent adjustments of the controls to prevent the tabs from disappearing.

Either you will have to:

1. design all of the forms in a smaller size to fit the lowest resolution monitor (probably 800x600). THis will result in the higher resultion monitors displaying forms that effectively use only a portion of the screen real estate.

2. Look for some code (free or otherwise) to automatically resize the form and controls to different screen resolutions. Note that it is best if you still initially design the forms to the lowest resolution. See the following website for some suggestions:

Note that "automatic" resizing is a complicated process that entails more than just changing the form size. Controls and fonts as well must be adjusted and moved to keep them proportional to a resized form. Don't expect perfect results from the freeware versions.

3. Get all of your users on to the same screen resolution.

Sorry for the bad news, but those are your unappealing alternatives.

Cheers,
Bill
