Tablet PC Input Panel

Anyone know of a way to disable the initial input panel that pops up at login?

fujuitsu lifebook 4215. I'd like it disabled when it is in notebook orientation and enabled when in tablet orientation.

This may not be possible on the fujitsu but on hp tablet this is the default behaviour.

Problem solved.

I was unaware that swiping the digitizer side to side (while hovering just over the screen) calls up the input panel...

that's all I needed.

I am having the same problem with the input panel that pops up at login. I haven't found out how to disable this. Can you tell me what you mean with "swiping the digitizer side to side (while hovering just over the screen) calls up the input panel". I don't do anything and the input panel pops up anyway.
