Goodmorning from Holland!

This morning I opened my dbase which normally is ± 52.000 MB, now it is only 41.000 MB and half of my tables is lost. Until compression and closure yesterday evening it worked fine. But the backup of this morning also has only the 41.000 MB. How come??

Thanks in advance, best regards,

RJ

Hello RJ,

To answer one of your questions, when you compress a database it reduces the size of it. I have never lost tables due to compressing a database, however, I have lost tables due to the "Organic Interface". I know, not much help...I will be following this in case someone else has a solution/opinion.

Thanks anyway. By the way I still had the backup of 2 days before, so damage is limited. But I would like to avoid this problem in the future. I guess something went wrong while compressing.
