Tables and images resizing on minimize

Hi, I have had a problem with my tables resizing when the browser is minimized, is there any way that I could ancor the table so it doesnt move around? Please message me if you know anything about this subject I need an answer asap being as this is a business site I am building! PLEASE help me! This is an emergency!

Make sure that you pixel sizing and not "%" as percentages shift about all over the place.
Ancoring is not an option as you'll have problems when people call up the page with a smaller screen resolution.

Don't resize any images in Dreamweaver. Bring them in at the correct size. ... then resize the table box with pixel sizes again.
