Table stats in a standby database

I am running a Oracle 9 standby database and applying logs using a script. Do I have to run a full table stats after activating thhe database or are they updated by the database logs?

They are updated when the logs are applied on the standby database -- when you execute "analyze" or "DBMS_STATS" all stats updated are recorded in the logs as any transaction update.
