I am having a bear of a time with a relatively simple table I set up in InDesign CS. I formatted it on the pasteboard and when I dragged it onto the page it forced to row to expand in height... I have tried everything I can think of from setting row height to "Exactly" the height it was in the pasteboard, nothing seems to work.

Any thoughts about what "feature" might be causing the change? There are to text wrap issues...

Thanks for any help.

Andrew

probably you are working with a baseline grid on and the text in the table wants to jump to the baseline grid. turn it off or adjust your tabel layout to the baseline grid.

hope this helps

Thanks, this was *exactly* the problem!

After over an hour troubleshooting I gave up. Many, many thanks for your help!
