I have designed a table of contents report under Access 2000 but want to have a dotted line between the description and the page number. Is there an easy way for this line to shrink or grow depending on the length of the description?

Hi
How about setting the control source of a text box to:
=[Description] & ". . ."
Where ". . ." is a very long series of dots and setting the Can Grow property to No? [ponder]

Hi Remou,

I have tried what you suggested but get #Error instead of my description. I dont seem to be able to concatenate fields in the report writer of access.

Hi Haldane
Have you renamed the textbox to something other than description?

I have now, and it works.

Cheers for that.
