Hi

the technique described under faq68-5287 works very well under XL2003.
I tried it under XL2010 but it does not seem to work. Is there something that should be changed in the procedure? Thx

Hi,

I'm the author. It works in Excel 2007 and I assume that 2010 is somewhat similar.

Where, in the process, did it fall apart?

Thx for answering Skip,

I'll give it a go at work again tomorrow, and let you know.

I got it to work Skip.

Must have made a mistake somewhere.

Thx again

Just to add to this - I had a sort-of issue using this as I couldn't easily find the pivot table wizard in 2010, so now I've simply added this to my quick-access toolbar to make it easier.

Hi Fee,

good idea, and, for info, the shortcut Alt-D-P also works for this.

Hey Skip, I should have realised that you'd covered that in the FAQ :)

Cheers, Glenn.
