I got an error when i using CR8.5 to open a table named "transaction" in MS Access.

Is it a Reserved words?

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Probably
When do you get this error - is it when you are adding the table to the report? Or later? Have you tried aliasing it?

I've just tried it and it works fine for me. What exactly is the error?

I got the following error after I have added this table to the report and going to preview it.

Database Error
No rowset was returned for this table, query, or procedure.

I have made a Query named "abc" to select all data fieds in the table named "Transaction" and tried to use this Query in the report, it works fine.

Thanks.

Strange...I've had a quick look on the web, and all I can find is:
-Close and re-open your report
-Check your permissions

which I'm sure you've already done!

What happens if you actually re-name the table?

yes, it is so strange.

It works fine if I re-name the table.

I'm sorry - I don't know what to suggest!
Anyone else got any ideas?
