If you want help on this or any other forum you need to give people something tangible they can help you with. Could you be specific about your problem, give us details of the context, symptoms and what you have done so far to rectify the situation.

We can't condense a six week course on databases and Access into one of these dialogue boxes.

So for starters are you having a problem linking to a text file, or with setting criteria or with deleting things?

Thank you for your kind response. I have now after looking in help figured out the above problem. I know how to use access to a certain degree, I'm just struggling with some of the terminology.
