Table limitations when linking via ODBC

I'm beginning to beleive there is a limit when linking tables via ODBC. I am trying to link up a Pervasive SQL table to Access and I am only getting about the first 50 columns or so. The data I need however, is in the last few columns (column 100 or so). Is there a way I can write code to tell the system which fields I want to link?
This problem is reeking havoc on me and I could really use some advice ASAP on how to get the data. THANK YOU!

I have this problem especially when using Dbase 5 files.

It turns out for me at least that if I am using a linked table, I don't get the data if I view, but if I use a make table query, all the records come in. I dunno why.

Any way, maybe the same soloution would work for you.

Thanks,
ChaZ

Unfortunately, this doesn't work either. The table is simply too large. When I try the make table query, I still can only select from the fields that were linked. Any other solutions?

I don't understand what you mean by fields that were linked.

Can you give a little more information? I am suggesting that if you have a linked table, you use a query like

SELECT LinkedTable.* INTO CopiedTable FROM LinkedTable;
