Table Joins

I need to join a transaction table to a financial periods date table in Crystal Reports. (SAP Business One)

Can I link tables in Crystal to form a "between" join;

The Transaction date would link to both a PeriodStart field AND a PeriodEnd field to return the correct period label:=

11/09/2009 >= 01/09/2009 <= 30/09/2009 = FPeriod10

Only the start & end dates appear in the periods table, therefore I cannot guarantee the records match in the trans table

Got it!

Writing it down did the trick.

Link the TransDate field to the PeriodStart field >= then link the TransDate again to the Period End Field with a <= join.

Job Done!
