Hi

Is it possible to make a table into an execuatable file at all. I am trying to link our telephone system into a table in access and it requires it to be an EXE file. It does link, or so it help systm says with Access.

Thanks

No.
There is no such thing as an Access executable file (.exe).

Either the documentation with the telephone system is wrong or you have misunderstood.

Ok thanks think your right may ahve misunderstood

Then can I create an exe file that will open my access databse.

Thanks

An Access aplication can be turned into an executable. You need a more expensive version of Access - possibly Office Developer Edition or something like that.

To link another application to Access probably requires another approach. Microsoft supply several (ever changing) components that read Jet database tables. For example there is ODBC, DAO, ADO, MDAC, .net, maybe more. Could you give us some more detail?
