Table formating disapears

Howdy,

I have a user that uses tables in MS Word and every once in a while the table formatting will disapear. I have tried re-adding the tables and I get weird charachters in the tables. Other than that the document is fine. Has anyone ran into this before?

Thank you for your interest.

My user is using a template that already has some table formatting and when he adds more tables it is sometimes corrupts the document. I did not know he was using a pre-configured template until I asked if he was using a table style.
