I have a database that has been up and running for a long time now - All of the sudden, one of the tables had records data in it for just 2 or 3 of the fields - the primary key fields also contained blank information.

I tried many things but finally copied the data (except the corrupted rows) into another database table. I then deleted the original and pasted my new version back into the database.

After I did this, I went back into the table to find another 8 records with the same thing - I don't think the system would have let me copy the bad data back into the new table but perhaps? I am worried that I will continue to have a problem.

Any ideas and opinions if I should be ok ?? just looking for others experience ?? thanks!! Fred
