A user was using a table when the energy pull down, later when we tried to acces to the table was a error message, telling :

"Table xxxxx has become corrupted. The table will need to be repaired before using againg."

With two optiones, Cancel or Help

The Help Message tell me:

"Either the table record count does not match the actual records in the table, or the file size on the disk does not match the expected file size from the table header. Repair the table using an appropriate third-party repair utility for Visual FoxPro tables before opening the table again."

What i can do to repair this table.

Thanks

Mike,

To be fair, incidents like the theft of the portacabin are pretty rare... that happened about 10 years ago - an oil industry construction job in Wallsend.

As for the upgrade, I've been holding off for a while for a few reasons - not least because I've not settled in my own mind how best to upgrade existing clients apps... perhaps I should start a thread on that!

Now, which forum should that go in?

Regards

Griff

Hi! about the table problem...
use the backup table of the same table then. then copy the 32bit header of the backup table then replaced to the header of the corrupted table. then try to use it in vfp.

Mike,

I do not have a database, I have a stand-alone table.
Also, I am referring to the "fix" that advsoft said he used to repair his corrupt table.

I have the same error and am looking for a solution.

I tried the downloads suggested by KeepingBusy. The FPTFIX is for memo files only (I do not have a memo) and the other one FIXFOXPO.EXE doesn't do anything when I execute it.

Still looking ....
