hi there
I have a Combo box on my form which is used to select which record is displayed in the Tab Control form beneath it.
When i get to the last field on the Tab Control form, and then tab back to the top, the record inside of the Tab Control form advances to the next record that is stored in the table. I would like to enforce a 'rule' that another record can only be displayed in the Tab Control form if it is selected from the Combo box above the Tab Control.
Otherwise, the users will be confused as to which record they are entering information for as they tab around the form. And of course, a confused user can become an unhappy user :).
I hope that this makes sense.
thanks...........roddy

Don't know about tab controls, but your form has a Cycle property you can set to Current Record.

Dear 'tempclerk',
i gotta say thanks a bunch. It seems that this Cycle property has done the trick very nicely, not to mention it also seems to have solved a periodic issue of saving updates when switching records.
thanks again!
