I have 2 phones to install, how is it wired from the base to the amphenol connector, is their dedicated pins they get punched on. Thanks

When installing more than 1 set then you must use the RJ45 only

First set goes to pins 1 and 2, 2nd set to pins 3 and 4 etc.
The other end goes to any station port on the KSU.

tdip257, the digital extensions (and analogue ones if you have the right cards etc.) are presented on a 25-pair amphenol connector from the CCU to wherever your current extensions are terminated. Usually the installer will terminate them all, but each pair will normally either carry a extension, or perhaps an exchange line or another feature.
You'd normally wire your extensions to suit the termination, either rj11, rj45, lju6 (.uk) or whatever. Personally mine terminate to a patch panel, and jump across to structured wiring, to rj45 sockets and then I just crimp a rj45 on the handset lead with the centre pair being my extension (as 4/5 are unused on standard 100meg network connection, there's no way you can harm either equipment by mis-patching).
