T7406 Scanning...

Hello,

I have a T7406 that has recently seemed to have lost communication with the base unit, right now it is constantly displaying "Scanning...", I tried resending the SS code but I keep getting "Send Error! XXXXXX".

Does anyone have an idea on what could be the problem and any ideas on solutions?

You need to power the base off and then on. Within 15 seconds send the ss code. Maybe you are already doing that.

Thanks for the reply, I forgot to include that I have tried doing that many times, but no luck iam still getting the "Send Error! XXXXXX" message.
 
do u have multiple handsets connected to a base or is that the only cordless set.
 
Also, try plugging a digital set into the basecord feeding the cordless ext to the base.
 
Try changing the security code make sure your dip switches are not out of alignment and set is as 1, 2, or 3 then send s.s. code again by powering up and sending code at same time.
