T7406 Cordless Phones on BCM50

I have a customer (new install), with 2 7406 cordless phones on a BCM50. For some reason they appear to be on the same frequency and can overhear calls between the phones. They are in separate parts of the building and sometimes incoming calls are ringing the wrong phone, if not both cordless phones when it is not programmed to do this. Can anyone provide assistance with this?

yes. you must config the cordless phones. Use the same security code but use different handset ids then power cycle base station and send the codes. Pretty straight foward and in the book that comes with the sets.
