I have always used the T7316e sets.

What do you like better on a BCM the T7316e's or the IP sets and why is one better than the other.

Thanks

the price! T7316 cheaper.

"Friends,Romans,Countrymen lend me your ears I come to ask for help and to give it, lets not argue on who is best or worst lets just help each other

thanks guys. Is there any issues as far as ease of use or training or wiring or cabling that makes 1 of these superior over the other? Customer satisfaction, system features and functions, excetra?

DO these IP series sets require an AC power supply or do they work off the KSU power like the T7316's?

How about the station cord is it the standard 2 conductor like the T7316's?

IP phones are an ethernet connection. You need a PS or can be powered by a PoE switch. Either way you need an external data switch to link the phones to the BCM.

Read my post above.

11xx phones are wonderful on the BCM, but they are powerhouse phones on the cs1000 and UCx from Emetrotel. Even my friends from Nortel can't believe how dummied down the software is for the BCM 11xx and 12xx phones. Other than being IP phones and having hot desking, they don't do much more than operate like a t series or m7000 set. Id personally say the biggest advantage with these phones would be having them look cool on your desk, reduce wiring costs in a new installation and being able to share the data connection with the desktop.
