I have installed a lot of the GN Netcom 9120 wireless headset with the handset lifter and they have always worked just fine. A customer wanted a wireless Bluetooth version so I installed a Jabra Bluetooth with the lifter. He reported that during the phone all all of a sudden the handset speakerphone activated and he had to lower the handset and re-lift it in order to be reconnected to the Bluetooth. I thought it was the unit so I changed him over to a different Jabra model and the same thing happened. I thought maybe it was interference with the signal to the Bluetooth so I then installed the old reliable GN Netcom/Jabra 9120 which they already have one of the employees using for almost a year now with no problems at all. Guess what the exact same thing happened. I then changed out the T7316 same thing, then I changed out the handset lifer, same thing.

I have never had this happen before and I can't seem to figure out what is going on here.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

We copied the DN with the good headset over to his DN and he just sent me an email that he is having the same problem. I thought at first he was not using the headset the correct way but I was there yesterday when it did it right in front of me. I am going to change the cable pairs to another port on the Nortel block.

Turned out to the the set. I swapped the T7316e with sets made in both China and Mexico and the same thing happened. I finally swapped it with a plain old T7316 non "e" version and it is working just fine now.
