I have essentially zero knowledge about these Nortel phones, but my boss has tasked me with finding out how to do the following:

He wants to be able to set the call forwarding for a phone that is not in his office (let's say the phone in my office) from the phone in his office. He claims that he's seen it done before, but can't remember how it was done.

I've searched for a solution for about a day with no success outside of finding how to do it in the Element Manager. Unfortunately he says that is not what he wants. He wants to be able to do it through a feature code on the phone.

Is this possible?

hmmmm

the case says BCM200, but system ID says BCM400...not sure what to make of that

system ID says version 4.0.2.03

I have looked at the telephone feature guide and come up with nothing in regards to this. You may want to post over in the BCM forum and see if you get any hits over there.

Feature (grey button) 4 + destination number will do an immediate forward.
To do an automated forward after XX rings / busy is done via Element Manager (which can be downloaded by browsing to the BCM IP in Administrative Applications)
Then login add a new element and login to the BCM
Then go to Telephony > sets > active sets and look for call forwarding
