Can someone tell me how to change the intercom buton on a T7316 button to a line button...

It comes with Line 1 and 2 , i need a line4 button on the phone in place of the intercom button.

You'll need to change the line assignment on this set to appear and ring.

Enter Feature **Config
Password: config

The display will show Terminals and Sets and you'll see three triangles next to your buttons, press the upper right one to select terminals and sets.

Enter the extension number and press the upper right triangle again

The display will show Line Access, press the upper right triangle

The display will show Line assignment, press the upper right triangle

The display will show Show Line: enter 004 or 04

Press the button under the display under change until it says Appr & Ring

Press the pink button to exit programming

John, won't that just add Line 4 under Line 3 on the left bank of buttons? I think you will have to go into Line Access and change the set to one intercom, then do a Feature * 81 and move Line 4 to where the second intercom was and then go back and reprogram the feature button that Line 4 came off of.

You're right of course, but to me the question sounded more like an end user wanting to have access to line 4 without the help of a vendor and not that much information. Although if he already had an appearance for line 4 then he can easily move the button following your instructions
