Hello guru tech friends,

I have a few T7208 phones for which my staff is insisting that I move some of the buttons.... here's what the 8 button layout looks like..

1 - Voicemail
2 - Internal transfer dn
3 - Internal transfer dn
4 - Internal transfer dn
5 - Do Not Disturb (DND)
6 - Intercom
7 - Intercom
8 - Speakerphone/Handsfree

Now I know that in the system, the codes are different for Intercom, and Speakerphone.... but for what they need to use the phone for, they don't need a "speakerphone/handsfree" button. They want me to move both the Intercom down by one... so that they could use button 6 for something else. I looked into the BCM Manager software and it wont allow me to change 6, 7 and 8... it's all greyed out...

Tried to check the instruction manual but I can't seem to find how to do it.

I am hoping one of you guys/gals know how to.

Thanks.

I've done that, but it has not changed anything on the rest. I even closed and re-opened the BCM manager software to make sure it wasn't an error in just showing it... but it's still showing as

6 - Intercom
7 - Intercom
8 - Speakerphone/Handsfree

No no, I only need to do this change for 2 phones.

What is showing as?
Element Manager or the set itself when you go up to it?.

"it wont allow me to change 6, 7 and 8... it's all greyed out"
Where in programming are you to see that?
There is no 6 7 and 8.
Per exsmogger go to Capabilities, you will see the drop down menu for Handsfree, the very first choice under Capabilities.
