We currently have a T1 super trunk connected to a TLU77 card. We are wanting to change over to a PRI line. Do we need to change the line card or do any programing? We are running BC8.

I'm not sure what that means. Is there a print command I can use to get that information?

Which country are you in? Can you provide ROCAP and RODAP?

If you're in the US, you need a TLU-77/1 for PRI.

Good luck,

Dave Strang

I am in the US.

The card is just TLU77 it does not have the /1
The entire label on the card is:

Thanks for the help,
Don

ROF 1375387 /3 is a T-1 card........you need a /1 (ROF1375387/1) for PRI. Also, be aware that BC8 was a bad release for PRI -- 1st model year so to speak -- at least the first couple of US installs of BC8 were disasters. There may a be few patches, but I believe the majority of PRI faults w/BC8 were fixed by upgrading to BC9.

Good luck,

Dave Strang
