I am in need of some guidance.

Trying to find out why a remote site cant access windows 2000 server. They are connected by a T1.
On my end there is a TSU100 connected to a cisco 1750. Internet on my end is a cable modem running into a linksys router(gateway)

I am not sure on the other end hardware but they are able to ping the gateway on my end and use the internet connection. But they cannot ping the server on my end.

Possible routing issue - does their equipment know where to find the subnet where your Win2K server is?

do a sh ip route x.x.x.x and see if your subnet is advertised.

Thanks,
Nicole

got it up and running we set the gateway for the server to the 1750's IP address
