I have a problem whereby certain Win2K worstation users, upon logging in to their machines get a system32 folder pop up on their desktops. I have never got to the bottom of this and I thought maybe someone here might know what the problem is or where it derives from.....

Thx

Oops! An addendum to this. Tried what was suggested on the Windows site, but it still is occurring. Only seems to be happening on particular logins. Any more ideas???

I solved this once... it ended up that within the registry, I think it was the "run" key, there wasn't a "default" value in there... I'd go have a look. (like every other registry key)

I created it on the PC I had, and it was fine after that.
