I am trying to change a system speed number. I have tried reading the merl and end up getting stuck every time I try it. I am using LD18 and trying a CHG...after that, it just gets wierd. period.
Frustrated....
I would greatly appreciate anyones's input.
nortel will tell you that, its better to out and rebuild.,
you can change entries, but nortel frowns on dnsz chgs.
you may want to out and rebuild this sclist, if you got the time. nertel may have fixed this prob. but im unaware if so.
print it first so you can enter all those ###'s agin.
print the speedcall list 0001,(does it appear on a phone or phones?) if so print the phone tn. (ld 20 )
at request REQ prt
TYPE scl
lsno 0001 then enter to print.
now if you print a tnb of the phone. (thats,
req prt
type tnb
tn l s c u
cr cr cr cr then look at the key with scl and is it a
scc or scu. IF THE "SSU" IN THE PHONE DATTABASE, ABOVE ALL THE KEYS, IS 0001, THIS WOULD DETERMINE A SYSTEM SCL.
IF ITS JUST ON THE KEY OR KEYS. just rite down the numbers, for reprogramming, and out and rebuild. today would be best , so your system don't have time to data dump.
