hello all. quick question...someone picked up a bug here and the usal thing it is stored in system restore. turning it off seems to be the answer but were could i find the directory to where the restore puts its files so that i can get in there and delete it myself? thanks for any help on this.

Use the disk cleanup tool. Do not try this manually.
Look under the options section of the Disk Cleanup Wizard, found by right-clicking the drive in My Computer, Properties, and clicking the button for disk cleanup near the pie chart that appears.

i will give that a try..thank you very much. should i have system restore disabled before i run clean up?
