I've had my computer w/ windows 2000 for about a year and recently it has been acting up. Everything is working slower. I'm pretty convinced that I have a virus (i do not have i virus protectant on my cpu). Anyway my question would be... is there a way i can reset my computer back to a certain date or something and make these bugs and glitchs go away???? If someone could reply to this post and tell me how I would go about reseting my system (Windows 2000), it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

do you perform any backups on your machine?

the easiest way is to just backup all ur important data, and wipe the machione clean.

highly reccomend you to have some virus protection in future

Step you can take (if possible):

create map named SCAN on drive C:rightclick on the map SCAN , choose properties, and click 'Read Only' until its marked with a black marker, then OK.
Goto (McAfee antivirus ) site : and download the latest SDAT... file ( i believe sdat4369.exe )to the map SCAN
Let's say it's sdat4369.exe
Now go to START, RUN and typ [purple]c:\SCAN\sdat4369.exe /e[/purple] and OK
