User's system reboots arbitrarily with no error messages, no log entries. (P4, XP Home) Happens anywhere from 1 hour to 12 hours. All temps ok. Here's what I've done:

Removed spyware/adware/viruses (around 10 scans total)
Chkdsk
Replaced PSU
REplaced memory

Tested mobo with Micro-Scope, tests ok.

What else can I try?

(Posting in Hardware forum also)

First you need to find out why its rebooting.

Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced Tab > Startup and Recovery > Settings. In here you need to uncheck the 'automatically restart' option. This will cause the computer to display the BSOD on the next crash, which should point you in the right direction.

Already did this, no bsod or any other error msg.

Hi,
Check the event viewer logs to see what's up..If nothing there, I would think about overheating as a cause.

As I mentioned, temps ok, no log entries.

Customer decided to buy a new computer rather than pay for further diagnostics.

Thanks for all sugestions.

I had this happen to me. It was bad memory. Nothing in the event logs or anything.

Cheers.

Oops, sorry. I didn't read your original post carefully enough. I see you replaced the memory.
