Does EAS has to be enable in order to use Agent ID, CM G3 5.2.1 CMS 16. I have agents but have it setup using extensions and auto dial into hunt groups. I want to change it to Agent IDs so they can be in multiply ques. So question is does EAS has to be enable and if enable will it stop the current set up.

EAS must be activated to add agent-loginID for ACD hunt-groups (also referred to as splits or skills)

When activated, you can also use non-ACD hunt-groups with split members (stations)
ACD are the only hunt-groups that can be used as skills with vectoring and CMS/BCMS measurements

So if I enable EAS it will not harm any existing extension with autodial buttons into their hunt groups. I can start new hunts/skills and slowly moved them over after training on agent ID and reason/aux codes.

Right now agents have a autodial feature-code+hunt+extension but this is only good for one que. No reas/aux codes being used.

right, no change for existing unless you remove acd from the hunt-group type
