System Overview

Just curious if there is a good publication beside the NTP's that would give me a solid grounding in understanding the system and services of a Nortel PBX.

The software feature guides and input/output guide are great for understanding the prompts and responses, but I am looking for something that will explain in plain english the system, the hardware etc.....just so I can understand from the ground up what the hell I am doing! And, it doesn't take me days to figure out what the hell I need to do when I need to configure or implement or we need to purchase upgrades.

Any help is appreciated!

If you have all of the NTP's the system engineering one has the specs and card information so does the installation and maint. The whole set of 15+ books or the CD set should have been left on site from the install.

The system was purchased from a liquidator. We had a Nortel Certified Expert in to install it for our needs. Therefore, there is little if not no documentation.

Any suggestions on where to go from here?
