I have an IP 500 V2 system with analog lines that I have had an issue with and can't seem to correct. I have called the local phone company to add disconnect on the lines to keep them from hanging up the AA. I have an issue that when the user hits 9 for the outside extension they have to pause for about 5 seconds before they continue dialing or they get the dreaded your call could not be completed as dialed. I have been searching the forums for this info but have had no luck. Anyone come across this?

I adjusted the "Await dial tone" MS down to 500. Seems to be much better...

Also make sure any disconnected trunks are disabled, otherwise the IPO can try to use these.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

I remove the semicolons in the ARS on analog lines.

You need to redo your ARS shortcodes to make them specific for your area. If you just use N, then the system is always waiting in case you have another digit. For example, we dial 7 digits locally, and so we set a xxxxxxx, Dial, N, 0 (Must use small x). Then build other SCs for 1+, 411, and any other needs. This tells the IPO to dial and not wait when someone dials a local call.
