I am trying to understand what purpose the System Manager has. Is it just to provide a graphical interface to the Link between Session MGR and the ACM?

I happened to of established a link between ACM and Session Manager before System manager was built.
SIP trunks show in-service/idle. Does that mean they are really up? Have not had a chance to test yet.

Thank you

System Manager is used for centralized admin of your Session Managers. I suspect the SIP trunks you are seeing are the entity links to your CM, Modular Messaging or Service Provider SIP trunks, SIP connected gateways etc...

You are correct, I see the trunks up between Session and CM, in CM.
When configuring System Manager (from what I have read) you need to enter into System exactly what is in CM.
"To administer minimal routing via Session Manager, you need to configure a SIP entity of type CM and a second SIP entity of type Session Manager"

So the Service is "up and working" for proof of concept, I should be able to send traffic down it right? I do not have to have the service "managed" right now.

Thanks!
