I am setting up (reconfiguring) a Magix System.

I have Incoming Lines 801 - 880.

I am trying to number them 8101 - 8180...

I get to the part of "Start At 801:
Enter new line number:"

When I enter 8101, the system does nothing... the number goes away.

I am starting with the environment of a Frigid Boot.

What's up here?

Well, lines such as 810 will interfere with 810X

So, do a block renumber of 801 through 880 to 600 through 680 (if that's not another conflict with your setup), then do another block renumber of 601 through 880 to 8101 through 8180.

Ok. Thanks. That worked great.

Wonderful!!!

But.... why did 801 - 880 conflict with 8101 - 8180??

CCB

Because 8101 - 8180 includes line "810" in the initial string - which would have been an existing line number.
