Hi all,

I found the error on CISCO Unified CM Administration caused by an insufficient Enhanced Plus license.
this issue caused the system lost the ability to provision Users and Devices.

does anyone face the same issue in the past?

thanks

Hi,
You have to add licenses, even demo licenses to get in compliance.
Then you will be able to delete phones.

Hi @MrFooF,

Thank you for the suggestion,

does the demo license affect to the installed license?

thanks

Demo licenses would have an expiration on them that Cisco can give you to hold you over.

Certifications:
A+
Network+
CCENT
CCNA Voice
CCNP Voice

Demo licenses are used here only to give you compliance to be able to remove certain phones. We must be able to remain compliant once these licenses have expired.
It is a way to get control of the CUCM.

The best/recommended practice is to purchase licenses to achieve compliance.

As soon as you see the non-compliance message, clean up to prevent the system from being locked.

The licensing section under system will give allow you to see how many devices are using each license type, so you can work out where you are over.
Enhanced Plus is used when a named owner of devices has 2 devices - it is designed for Jabber on Mobile with deskphone or Jabber.
It could also be that Enhanced is borrowing from Enhanced Plus as well.
