I have a Compact KSU with 4.1 software. This weekend it would appear the line card failed as all sets read 'Not Inservice' when you select any line. Further a alarm 52-2 appeard. I followed the steps of replacing the amphenol cord and confirmed the card was seated correctly. This is the second card in less then a year. Major concern is when I view the alarm log and ask it to state the time of the alarm there are "?" marks being displayed. The last event was was "901-55770000". The manuel states this is a major event which requires reprograming the entire system Is the software defective? Should i replace the entire cabnet? Thanx!

Have you replaced the line card? Does this fix the problem? I had a situation like this and I replaced the line card, all was ok for a while, then the card went out again! Come to find out the voltage from the CO was hotter then normal but still within Telco limits. I installed a resistor in line and that fixed the problem. I'm trying to remember, I think it was a 100 ohm resistor.

New card on order. Wouldn't a telco over voltage just blow the one port instead of the entire card?

Im also concerned about these alarm codes with '?' marks in certain date and time fields. Also this Event Code 901 seems pretty serious.

I can't remember if it was just a line or the whole card. I do remember I had to go back a couple of weeks later and replace the card again.
I would measure the incoming voltage.
